Here’s some important information that will ensure you have the best possible experience at Southbeats!
Are there any age restrictions?
You must be at least 18 years of age to gain entry to the festival.
Valid photographic ID required. Southbeats operates a challenge 25 poilcy. Suitable forms of ID include your passport, driving licence and any photographic ID that carries the PASS logo. Photocopies are not acceptable. We will not refund tickets purchased by anyone under the age of 18 or anyone without appropriate ID.

Security, searching and drugs policy
All bags will be thoroughly checked upon entry. Searching is a condition of entry to the festival, refusal of a search will result in refusal of admission.
We politely ask that you avoid bringing bags into the main arena unnecessarily – especially larger bags. Each and every bag will be searched – meaning the more bags brought to site, the slower this entry process becomes.
There is a zero tolerance policy to drugs at Southbeats Festival. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances and contraband items will be refused admission or ejected from the site and may also be liable for prosecution. Any items found that may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. This includes nitrous oxide (laughing gas).
We reserve the right to refuse admission and no refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from the site.
Is there anything I shouldn’t bring to the festival?
The below items are prohibited from the main arena and will be confiscated. We reserve the right to confiscate any items not listed below that we deem to be inappropriate/dangerous.

Disabled facilities at Southbeats include Blue Badge parking close to the entrance, fast-track entry, disabled toilets and main stage viewing platform. Please note that the majority of the site is grass and may be uneven in places.
We operate a free carer ticket policy for eligible customers. To apply, please purchase a ticket to obtain a reference number and then email [email protected] with the following information:
The deadline to apply for carer tickets is 13th September 2019 – we will not be able to process any applications received after this date.
I’ve lost my ticket/email confirmation. What do I do?
If you have lost your email confirmation containing your e-ticket, please check your inbox, junk mail, deleted items and any other email folders thoroughly. If you still can’t find it, please contact [email protected].
Unfortunately we cannot replace lost physical tickets, so please keep them in a safe place.
Can I have a refund?
All tickets are sold on a no-refund basis. If you feel you have an extenuating circumstance, please contact us.
If you can no longer attend the festival, you may pass your tickets onto friends. Please note that once the barcode has been scanned on entry, tickets cannot be reused.
Can I sell my ticket?
Tickets cannot be re-sold. This is for the safety of our customers. If you can no longer attend the festival, you may pass your tickets onto friends. Please note that once the barcode has been scanned on entry, tickets cannot be reused.
Can I leave the festival and come back?
Once you have entered the main arena there is strictly no re-admission. If you leave the site, you will not be allowed to re-enter and tickets will not be refunded.
Camping ticket holders can go back to the campsite and re-enter the festival as many times as they want, but re-entry will be subject to further security checks.
Once you have entered the campsite, there is strictly no access to the car park and re-entry will not be allowed if you leave.
Where is Southbeats?
Southbeats Festival will take place at St Clere Estate, Sevenoaks, Kent, TN15 7NS.
How do I get there?
Southbeats Festival is easily accessible by car and public transport. For detailed travel information, please visit our Travel page.
Is there car parking?
Parking will be available on site for day, weekend and camping ticket holders, which will be clearly signposted from surrounding roads. Please DO NOT park on the roads surrounding the park, as this will result in vehicle enforcement action.
Campsite parking is £20 per car and day parking is £10 per car. We advise booking parking in advance.

Is there a drop off/pick up point?
There will be a large drop off/pick up area on site, which will be clearly signposted from surrounding roads. Please DO NOT drop off or pick up anyone on the roads surrounding the park, as this will result in vehicle enforcement action.
When does the campsite open and close?
The campsite will open at 4pm on the Friday and close at 12pm on the Monday.

Does everyone in my group need a camping ticket?
Yes, camping is per person, not per tent. Each person requires a camping ticket.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
You are not allowed to bring alcohol into the main arena. There will be plenty of bars. All bags will be searched on entry and any alcohol will be confiscated.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
You are not allowed to bring any food or drink into the main arena. There will be a huge variety of food/beverage stalls and free water points on site.
There are no limits on how much food or soft drinks you can bring into the campsite.
Will there be free water?
There will be free drinking water points available in the main arena and campsite. Please remember to keep hydrated throughout the day.
Will there be lockers?
Yes, there will be lockers, phone charging and a cloak room available in the main arena and campsite for a small charge on a first-come, first served basis.
Will there be cash points?
Yes, cash points will be available on site. Please note that there will be a small transaction charge per withdrawal.
What if it rains?
Come prepared to get wet! Umbrellas are not permitted on site but ponchos will be available to purchase. The festival will not be cancelled due to bad weather unless the site is deemed to be dangerous.
